hello! i'm new to this site and i just had a few questions about my jetta. it is a 99.5 jetta i think (the newer body style) either way i know its a 99. anywho, my stupid question is... is my jetta a gl, gli, etc?? it just has the jetta badge on the rear. its a 2.0L non turbo. pretty basic. im just not sure what exactly it is when i start buy parts for it. I'm new to volkswagens. I just sold my 96 trans am. these gas prices are killer. anyways, any input would help. thanks

Well if you have a GLI your in luck..... Will have a 2.0 16 valve in it it would more than likely be badged GLI on the front or back...... if its a GL it probably has the 2.0 8 valve......

I'm also pretty sure that the GLI is a 6 speed...... anyways just look in the owners manual or search the vin
