JUST GOT A 03 JETTA GLS FOR MY WIFE.. SHE LOVES THE CAR.. I'M NOT TO SURE ABOUT IT.. I THINK IT NEEDS MOR HORSES. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? CAI, EXHAUST.. MAYBE A TURBO OR SUPERCHARGER. BUT FOR NOW.. ALL MY WIFE CARES ABOUT IS HOW IT LOOKS.. SO SHE'LL BE GETTING THE 'MAKE ME LOOK PRETTY WHEN I DRIVE' UPGRADES.

--- SO TO MY QUESTION WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE BEST FIRST MOD FOR A JETTA?

If you want to stay cosmetic things like clear or smoke side markers work well stubby anteana lowering kit gets the gap out of the wheel wells, tinted windows those all add a lot as far as visual appearance. For Perf. Mods. I always want to go with suspension type stuff first because if you do any upgrades you are still going to have that "roll" when it comes to handling, taking care of this first seems more performance wise sound. I am sure other people would have other views also this is just my opinion. It's a tough decicsion though between this and things like cold air chips and such. What size are the rims? I upgraded to a 8 inch tire and there is a big handling difference but there is also a big ride difference with the 17x8 on it.

suspension is a very good first mod. Makes the car look a lot better, and it handles better too.
