No glovebox?

My BF has a '95 and his is also without a glovebox dont know why they dont have one but you do have a center consule box were as the newer models have a glove box but no center console box.

Yeah I do have that. My '07 Rabbit has both the center console and the glovebox though! Gotta love that.

The reason is it was the first model featuring passenger air bag, so they cannot find space for both accesories: glovebox and air bag!

not entirely true. The vento dash had an uper glove box where the bag was( it was either 93 or 94). Most 2.0's didnt have a glove box, but glx's had a lower glove box which you can find at a junkyard

Negative my BF's is a GLX no glovebox.

what year? All GLX's had one unless it was removed by someone. Like I said the vento dash had an upper there instead of an airbag, so maybe someone put an airbag in its spot depending on what year it was

It's a 95 the earlier ones did not have one.

94 had an upper glove box

I have a 95 Glx and there is no glovebox. Is there a way to install one? possibly by putting a newer model airbag in so its smaller thus creating the space for storage.
