Hi, I have a 01 Jetta wolfs 1.8T. Previously it gave me a lot of trouble on the fuel smell in cabin and today when I start the car, the CEL on and indicating P0011. I googled it and found a lot of things related. So does it mean if I don't replace timing belt it would stop in the middle of nowhere someday?(90K now.) Looking for expert give some tip.

if its got 90k and the belt has never been changed i would just do it and get it over with. your getting to the time to do it so to avoid 2 grand in cost i would just do it asap. imo
