Not sure neither of my pens say on them, you always want to get rust off then I would prime just for good measure because the touch up paint will chip off of the raw metal if you put it directly on (I know from experience on this one) so with a primer you will have better sticking power.
Paint touch up
Does anyone know if the touch up paint pens you get from VW are acrylic based or lacquer/enamel based? I put on this rust sealant on the rust spot but it says that if it's acrylic it doesn't need primer before finish paint, but if it's lacquer/enamel it does need it.
