I have a 2008 Jetta GLI. I bought a Parrot 3000 hands free car kit off the internet. I went to Circuit City to have it installed and after ripping my car apart for 2 1/2 hours and cutting the wires on the unit so that I can't return it they told me it can not be installed in my car. They said it's because my car speakers run at 8 ohms and the kit runs at 4 ohms. The kids working there don't seem to be the sharpest tools in the shed so I'm not sure if they know what they are doing. Does anyone know if this sounds right?
Has anyone had a handsfree kit installed in one of the new VW with the upgraded sounds system in it? What unit worked for you?
