I made the dealer give me a bike rack with the deal and it was installed today. I cant decide if I should just leave it attached or just put it on when hauling a bike. Anyone have one and leave it on? Does it stand up to the elements pretty well? How about the cross bars?

just leave it on. It adds character. Just get a wind deflector for it.

I took mine off!

I love my roof rack! But i couldnt find a wind deflector for our rack and the whistling from the wind drove me mad! So we took it off until we use it again!!

I also felt a bit of wind shift when i was flying past those tractor trailers on the innerstate? maybe that was just me but it may have caught some wind from time to time!

take it off when not using it cuz it looks betta but itll be fine if u wana leave it on their

I keep my rack on all the time. I haven't had any problems with it and it seems to hold up just fine. The only problem I notice is that when I open my sun roof it generates a little extra noise.
