Hello Junkies-
Picking up my new 04 GLI this week.
It looks like tires are gonna be a important consideration.
OEM 18" BBS wheels.
I'm looking for some guidance on what some of you have been happy/unhappy with.

guidance in parts??? or tires...... Suspension is a def.... always good to have good handleing before your car is insanley fast..... I am getting eibach springs.... and i just have normal struts....

Congrats on the GLI. I love mine. The stock GLI has Eibach springs and monroe shocks, so tires are a more pressing issue. I can tell you that I'm UNhappy with my current front tires, which are General Tire Exclaim UHP. Stay far away, they suck when it comes to high speed maneuverability.

what do you want? I always go to tirerack and then read their track results and compare with other tires.
