wondering if anyone can help me out... i own an 02 jetta and just installed a sub in my trunk. the thing is shaking the **** outta the brake light cover over the trunk and under the rear window behind the rear seats. if anyone knows what im talkin about or has sound proofed their jetta id like to hear your advice thanks

what direction is your sub facing? Do you have it bolted down or just sitting in there? How many watts? I know a few people that used sound deadening before but isnt really worth the cost as its not too cheap

facing straight back. no tis not bolted down. its 1200 peak power.

try bolting it down, that will help vibration, but 1200 watts is a lot, you have to expect stuff to rattle

I kind of just take rattles one at a time you know really listen to them and fix each one individually, like the license plate the window a loose speaker cover things like that eventually you can get them under control.
