Spark plug upgrade

I bought a very detailed Service manual ( its got 2000 pgs. If anyone is interested, list your e-mail then i'll send it to ya.I have it in pdf file. It is for all engine models and chassis models, including jettas, golfs, 2.0, 1.8t, 1.9 TDI, etc) and listed under routine maintenance is the replacemement of the spark plugs at 60k intervals. Im at 57k right know, so its almost time.

Is there a way I can "upgrade" my plugs? get more performance out of them? what are some good brands?

tks

yo the best way to get maybe a little performance is to get some of the expensive ones but some do say they will give you performance but i have yet to feel a difference. send if you want [email protected]
could you send it to me too please i have a 2.0 jetta 97 email is [email protected] thanks

Ryan
can you send a copy to me please, I have a 99 Jetta ([email protected])
does anyone know what i can do to a 2002 automatic gls with no turbo? i was thinking a ECU, catback, and a short ram intake. I can get the short ram for $80. I found a PCD performance chip online for $80 and its suppose to add 50 HP. Im new to VW's and need advice, why are people telling me chips are like $300?

first of all,I dont mean to be rude but your questions are off topic. There are a few threads about your question. I'd suggest you to cruise through the forum and read up a little aight?
All I have to say is :be careful with ebay/google searches. On turbo engines, no reputable chip is less than $350-500. On aspirated engines, u can find cheaper ones, but it will not give you 50 hp. 10, 20hp at the most.

I think we have told u before: sell your automatic and get a 5 spd. Its a lot more fun and then you can mod it all you want with no worries.

Back to spark plugs, anyone with more inputs?

About the manual, Im at work right know. I'll try to send it during the weekend.
Hey, can I get a copy of that I have a 2001 wolfsburg 1.8T my email is [email protected] and have you heard of the pulstar spark plugs are they any good or waste of money?
NGK's BKR7E's ftw. In a 1.8T chipped, gap to .028, stock gap to .032.

Its a colder plug than the stockers... They work very well, and are only about $2 a piece.

Expensive plugs are unncessary, and in some cases, decrease the performance of your engine!

cool lol
Where can i get them from?
Also, how hard is to replace the plugs? does it have decent access?
tks brotha
Should be able to get them at autozone/advanced... Atleast NAPA I would think, I forgot where I got mine.

They're wicked easy to install... Unplug your coil packs, pull em' out, and your spark plugs are right there. Torque to 22 ft/lbs or just guess it. Having them too loose is WAY better than too tight. Last thing you wanna do is break off a plug while the threads are still in the head of the engine.

Gap is VERY important, so if you don't have feeler gauges (autozone, $5) then buy some.
If you don't mind email me that .pdf file, please...

Thanks in advance

I guess i will follow the trend and ask for the PDF file as well. [email protected]
Here's the problem: I've just tried to send the email, but the file is too big to be sent via e-mail. I need to post that file online somewhere. Any ideas?
hmmmmm idk maybe some website or just give people the section they need like 1.8t section or 2.0 section etc.

humm, its kinda hard cause all body manuals and electrical are integrated, only engines are broken down separately.
All i need is an online host. Does anybody know hoe to get one?
Could you please send me a copy? [email protected]
Thanks a million!:D
you can also attach a file to the thread, but gmail allows large attachments tho.

that is a no go. Maxfilesize is 2 mb. The manual is 10 mb. Any more suggestions?
you can upload the pdf file on free fileshare websites such as megaupload.com or zshare.com or rapidshare.com and post the download link here. This way you won't have to send individual copies to every one.
