Hey what's up everyone. So far this is one of the better forms ive found since becoming a vdub owner this past xmas. I drive a 98 Jetta GLX VR6.
What I'm looking for today is some help with reliable spark plugs and wires. I'm leaning toward Bosch platinum +2 or +4 plugs but have heard NGK works fine at half the price. Plus the platinum +4 I don't think were even around then. EBay has a tune-up package for sale including spark plugs & wires, and an oil/air/fuel filter all for 150. Sound good?
I'd also like to hook up a radio to my car since it came without one or speakers.(good thing I had em) Headlights dim when windows roll so I'm pretty sure the alternator is on its way out. Any good online stores or brands for a strong alternator.oh and priced reasonably please!...Lastly shout out any exhaust kits or manufacturers u know of. My muffler has a hole in it and sounds like a beast is being dragged underneath.

Magnaflow exhaust all the way sounds amazing on vr's

stick with the oem ngk's, bosch is bad news on these cars sometimes. I get most of my parts at germanautoparts.com. i usually get my stuff next day

Thanks. I'll take a look at magnaflow for sure. Plus I've never heard anything bad about ngk's so ill give em a try. Do u know any solid sights that actually know which parts fit my 98 vr6 and wont have me returning parts for bad fitting parts.lol i hate that
