My radio has "safe" across its screen. It is the factory radio, and I cant get it to turn on [wtf]

Also, it will not accept a tape. I dont know if this is part of the safe problem or not...

Anybody know whats going on?

when you disconnect the battery, your stereo goes into safe mode to prevent theft of it. You need a code that you can get from the dealer to get it out of safe mode. The directions are in your stereo manual. If you dont have one let me know i can tell you the steps

Code should be in your owners manual mine is printed on a sticker in there its a very easy to turn off.
