I havent tried it yet but it does sound amazing. I am looking to upgrade my exhaust in the near future and this might be an option. The only thing I see might be a problem is running open pipes on a NA. There is a certain amount of back pressure we NA boys need for proper combustion (turbos create their own). I know that with a proper tune you can eliminate the need for back pressure.

Might be better with a hi-flow cat instead of open.

 

Definitely run a hi-flow cat, I only like straight pipes on some engines, like the 12v vr. I would suggest a full system, a 2.5'' dp w/ hi-flow cat, to a 2.5'' cat back with a muffler of choice (magnaflow, flowmaster, borla)

 

Since were on the same subject, can you leave the cat on and cut off the res and suitcse muffler, leaving the stock end muffler and still have enough backpressure? I was thinking about the same thing as the OP.

 

Suitcase muffler? 4's don't have that. But im thinking itll work seeing that your not taking anything out that super important. The res just makes things queiter, and you'll still have your main muffler
