What is the widest size tires that is known for the 99.5-up Jettas... Im new to the world so Im trying to find my limits...

depends on your states fender flair law........... in maine you can't have anything over 3inches past the fender flair..... but other than that you can put as wide tires on as you want....... might change up the handling and such but it doesn't really matter......

if your talking about wheels, people have fit 9.5's amd a few 10's under the wells of mkIV's. Its all about offsets

I was referring to like in the size number... I know 195's come on it... I was wondering what size like 225 or 235... something like that size...

Width..... the bigger number you go the not so wide your tire gets..... the smaller number the wider it gets....... like 60's are on old muscle cars in the rear usually..... those are like a foot wide maybe....

Yea.... power is reffering to inches..... 9-10 inches in width..... I am reffering to tire size in width....... all depends on your wheel wells, height of the car.... turning ratio.... all that is Off-Sets...... as long as you can turn your tires all the way without catching the fender your good....
