Hi everyone :) i just bought my first jetta 2005.5, but two days ago i just ran out of battery caused i left turned on the headlights...and well the card didnt start obviously a friend helped me jumpin it, and it worked the car was running as usual, but theres something bad bout the stereo...CUZ ITS DOES NOT TURN ON OFF, nothing, NOTHING APPEARS ON THE SCREEN, I press the power button, and nothing happens...no "SAFE MODE, 1000"...NOTHING! i have the 6cd changer audio system (original from factory) can someone please advise me?

do i have to buy a NEW AUDIO SYSTEM?
or i just have to replace a fuse?
and then what i have to do, put the code or i have to take my car to a vw dealer to reset the audio system?

THANK YOU SO MUCH ALL OF YOU GUYS FOR HELPING ME WITH THIS ISSUE

I'm no expert but I'd suggest one thing to do would be to disconnect the battery for a few mins and then reconnect it. I know in some cars this forces the factory stereo to reset. Just a thought.
