I have a '02 Jetta TDI and noticed that while driving home yesterday my sunroof opened partially on it's own and then closed. It did this twice, it only opened just enough to notice the pressure change in the car. Has this happened to anyone else and if so what can I do to resolve this strange issue.

I thought about removing the fuse that controlled the sunroof but will that stop the function of the dome lights as well?

after reading the initial title I'm thinking oh boy here we go again with a drain issue but after reading the thread this is pretty weird, my initial thought is the turn dial on the dome light could have gone bad, and yes just that part can be replaced, I do believe you can remove the fuse and it just affect the sunroof since that's on it's own circuit, you could also remove the cover and detach the motor connector

Yeah, I try and keep the drains clean. I'll try and remove the fuse since I never use the sunroof.

By looking at the fuse card I'm not quite sure which fuse controls the sunroof, is it #30?
