I got an idea of a simple mod for our VWs. What do you think about painting the logo on the front? making it look like the logo on this website. just put some light blue paint inside the VW logo.

if you know why I SHOULDN"t do it - let me know.
other than that - let me know what you think about this mod.

Go for it; its real easy. I did mine all black but I have a GLI. there are 4 screws holding the grill on and the badge is real easy to remove. Just remember to sand what ever you're painting.

i have my emblem on an r32 bumper painted.. you can see it in my avatar. i like it, glad i didnt have to paint it though ahhaha!!

I painted mine black on the inside and bronze on the outside to match my rims. Comes out nice if you sand it, prime it, couple coats of paint and then clear coat.

the one on the front is help on by little clips. the one in the back is basically a sticker pod with the VW emblem glued on.

for the front it will just pull off doont be shy but if its not comming take the grille off it makes it easier to get off.

On the new ones you twist counter clockwise an 1/8 turn and then it pulls straight out.
