FYI: I replaced my LF wheel bearing for the same complaint and still had a noise. Turns out the outer axle joint is loose but the boot is still intact. Lack of lube from the factory, I say...

Besides a noise on one side or the other when turning, you can check your wheel bearings yourself but it requires a little disassembly: first jack up the wheel in question and rock in and out and look for looseness at the bearing. If none, then remove wheel, axle nut, brake caliper, tie rod end, ball joint bolts (mark location for reassembly) and pull knuckle away from axle. There should be enough play in the suspension to do this. You should be able to spin the hub and rotor and a growling, rumbling noise indicates a bad bearing. A bunch of rust powder is also another good indicator.
