Check out the Wheel thread....
Most of the wheels shown are on MKIV's but it will give you ideas!! Look for Hyperblack that would look great with your red. Most of the members here feel as though Black wheels of any type are "Rice" take it with a grain of salt though, the same members have stickers ALL over there back windows;-)

Stickers are on the left side, not all over. The problem with black wheels is it takes away from the detail of the wheel. When you're driving down the road, they just look like steelies. Waste of money.

^this all day. I like black wheels my self but like she said they are hard to see. Not so good for pics at all, just a black steelie look. I Wana see the exact set of wheels your getting before purchase.
Also is that your only plan for the ride, just wheels? I think if you got a suspension you'd have a lot more room to play with different styles and colors.

pretty sure thats been said more than its been said that they're ricer. I dont care about all black wheels, go for it, but they just look like blobs, thats opinion. Now chrome lipped multilugs (which is what most people post) THAT is ricer.

Remember to also check out used wheels, many times buy picking up a used set of wheels you can get a high end wheel for the same price as a middle of the road wheel. I've always like BBS product line.....there are good deals on them if you are patient and keep your eyes peeled on not only VW sites but also Audi & BMW.
